BRISBANE ARCHDIOCESE 150TH ANNIVERSARY

2009 - sees the celebration of a number of historic moments in Queensland's history. Significant among them is the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Catholic Archdiocese in Brisbane.

SPANISH MASS - 1st Sunday of Month - Calvary Church Miami

2009 - The Hispano American Society of Brisbane is celebrating a Mass in Spanish on the first Sunday of the month.

Fr Hector Zuniga CS invites members of the Spanish Community on the Gold Coast and all parishioners to join in this Spanish Mass on the First Sunday of each Month.

Mass is at 5.00pm on the first Sunday of the month at our Calvary Church - Miami - which is followed by a social gathering .

YOUTH GROUP MEETINGS – 1^st & 3^rd SUNDAYS

2009 - The Youth Group will start meeting from Sunday 1st March

Come along to the Doyle Centre at Marymount College from 3.00 to 5.00 pm every 1^st and 3^rd Sunday of the Month, to socialise, meet other local young people and to get to know others in your local area.

Enthusiastic young parishioners are organising a get together of our Parish youth, twice a month, to share ideas, experiences, organise social events, meet new people of your own age and, if you are interested, learn more about our catholic faith.

The suggested age group would be from teens to 25.

Those organising the afternoon get togethers have asked some parents to assist them at each meeting.

Fathers Pat, Rafal and Jan congratulate the young organisers for their tremendous initiative in forming the group and are keen to assist in whatever way they can.

YOUTH MASS – EVERY 3^rd SUNDAY @ 5.30pm

5.30pm Mass at the Doyle Centre – Marymount College is organised, every 3^rd Sunday, by the Youth of the parish and they are responsible for the liturgy, spiritual songs and the various readers and ministers assisting at Mass.

Come and join us in a Youth Liturgy that you will enjoy.
