PARISH COUNCILS

Burleigh Heads Catholic Parish comprises six communities, Miami, Burleigh Heads, Burleigh Waters (Doyle Centre), Palm Beach, Mudgeeraba and Springbrook.

Currently there are two Parish Councils and three community groups who meet regularly to manage and care for the individual Mass Centre liturgies as well as pastoral and community matters.

When deemed necessary a Combined Pastoral Council meeting is called to discuss more general issues and parish needs.

PARISH PASTORAL PLAN

After a year of prayerful planning, meetings and input by the whole parish community, the Parish Pastoral Plan is now compete and approved by our Parish Priest, Fr Pat Molony.

Seven Strategies have been identified and the Combined Parish Pastoral Council is calling the community together to "get behind' their implementation.

These strategies are:

Faith Education
Liturgy
Communication

Fr. Pat seeks every parishioner's prayerful support and active participation in one or other of these parish-wide strategies, thus living out the Jesus, Communion, Mission vision as expressed in this Pastoral Plan.
